25th IATEFL Poland Conference
2016 Szczecin

An Invitation to Take Part in the First Ever IATEFL Poland ‘Open Mic’ Evening

by Anna Gałucka
Categories: Conference 26th.

What’s an ‘Open Mic Session’? you may be asking yourself. Well, it’s an evening of entertainment provided by you the participants of the IATEFL Poland National Conference in Bielsko-Biala.

‘Open Mic’ sessions are held at many IATEFL Conferences all over the world. They are based on the assumption that EFL teachers are not only expert linguists and skilled instructors but also have other, often hidden talents. For example, some can sing, some can play a musical instrument, some have interesting stories to tell, some can tell jokes or offer political satire, some can dance, some can .....,  etc. Each slot should be no more than about five minutes, and who knows: if you have something to offer, you may become the IATEFL Poland ‘showstopper’ and your contribution could be the launching pad for a new career!

So if you are one of the many talented teachers in Poland and feel that you’d like to make a contribution to the Saturday Evening Session, just get in touch with geoff.tranter@iatefl.org.pl who will be able to give further details and answer any questions you may have.
