IATEFL Poland Annual Conference 2017 - Call for Papers – First-Time Speakers
by Anna Gałucka
Categories: Conference 26th.
This year’s IATEFL Poland Annual Conference will be held on 15th-17th September in Bielsko-Biała. As usual, there will be a large number of well-known and experienced speakers from many different countries. However, this year, the IATEFL Poland Board would also particularly like to invite proposals from first-time speakers living in Poland. The proposals could be presentations, talks or workshops on any practical ideas that teachers feel to be both innovative, effective and useful for English teachers in general. Proposals can relate to materials or methods developed for their classes or be connected with new ways of using media in ELT. This invitation applies to teachers of English in all areas of education from pre-school through primary and secondary to further, adult and higher education. Sessions are normally of about 30-45 minutes duration.
To support all first-time speakers, we are offering assistance in the form of experienced speakers who will act as mentors offering any advice you may feel you need with your presentation.
All teachers who believe they have something to offer and would like to have the rewarding experience of giving a talk at the Annual IATEFL Poland Conference should get in touch by no later than 30th April (firstname.lastname@example.org) giving details of the talk or presentation they would like to offer. We will then contact all interested teachers with further information about the mentoring system and how to proceed.
We look forward to receiving Conference Proposals from first-time speakers!
