Teaching conversation for the workplace

DATE: 27 March 2010, VENUE: Bell Kraków, ul. Michałowskiego 4, room 6

Many of our Business English classes involve conversation - often it happens spontaneously, but it can also be planned. In this workshop I will take a brief look at some of the options available to teachers to optimize the teaching of conversation, including techniques for focusing on lexis and grammar, treating conversation as discourse, and using a genre approach. The workshop will include background theory as well as practical activities to take away for your class next Monday morning.

The Conference is a professional get together of a large number of ELT practitioners, methodologists, textbooks/material writers and teacher trainers from all parts of Nepal and abroad.
