Speaking clearly for student presenters.

This workshop by David Fisher of The Bear Educational Theatre, Prague, introduces tips on how students can speak clearly when giving presentations. The workshop will focus on practicing the basic skills and eliminating the main mistakes that amateur presenters often make. There will also be some advanced pro tips for the more experienced.

Teaching students to Speak Clearly.

Teachers often say things to their students like 'Speak up’ or 'Speak more clearly’. But speaking clearly is not automatic, it is a skill that has to be learnt. It is also a skill that most teachers do not really know how to teach.

This workshop introduces four main elements that are the key to speaking clearly.  It presents activities that teachers can use with their students in class to practice those elements and generally teaches them what they need to do to help their students speak clearly.

David Fisher is the director of The Bear Educational Theatre in Prague. He is also an experienced actor, teacher, and teacher-trainer. David specializes in taking lessons from the world of entertainment and applying them to classroom teaching
