Activities to start your school year on the right foot – a webinar by Maria-Araxi Sachpazian

Dear Colleagues,

IATEFL Poland and Maria-Araxi Sachpazian, Managing Director of Input on Education

have the pleasure to invite you to the first webinar in 2022/23 series

which will take place on Thursday, 1st September 2022, from 20.30 to 21.30 CET.

Your registration will be made via Zoom platform

This webinar is titled:

Activities to start your school year on the right foot’

Brief summary:

The first days of the school year are fraught with anxiety. Teachers are wondering how to revise past material, without turning lessons into boring sets of repetitive tasks. They also have to deal with the unpredictability related with the new groups or with how new students who have been added might affect classroom dynamics and alter the established climate. Finally, teachers are right to think that the first days should send a realistic message to students and parents that they ‘’mean business’’.  This webinar aims to show how teachers can overcome the challenges of the first days when students may not yet have books and to suggest activities which can promote bonding and familiarisation between teachers and learners.

After the webinar all participants will receive a link to certificate of participation.
