which will take place on Monday, 17th of February 2025, from 20.30 to 21.30 CET.
Summary:
This webinar explores practical strategies for teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) to students with ADHD and dyslexia. Participants will gain insights into the unique challenges these learners face, such as difficulties with focus, working memory, and decoding text. The session will cover effective classroom management techniques, multisensory teaching methods, and tools to enhance engagement and comprehension. Emphasis will be placed on creating an inclusive environment that fosters confidence and celebrates progress. Teachers will leave with actionable strategies to support their students’ language learning journey while addressing their specific needs.
During the webinar all participants will be provided with a certificate of participation, which they will be able to download.

Professional profile
Vicky Kaperoni

Bio
Vicky Kaperoni is an English teacher, a graduate of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, with a postgraduate specialization in Pedagogy from the University of West Attica. Since August 2022, she has been a doctoral candidate at the IICSE University in Delaware, USA.
She specializes in teaching English to students with dyslexia and has developed an innovative teaching method based on the principles of multisensory education. Since 2020, she has owned and operated the „Teaching Brightly By Vicky Kaperoni” language center in Peristeri, which is the only center in the Western Suburbs specializing in teaching foreign languages to students with dyslexia.
Furthermore, she actively participates in conferences throughout Greece and abroad, while also giving lectures aimed at informing and raising awareness among parents and educators about dyslexia.She is the writer of the book “Stardust” which is the first pre-junior book specially designed for teaching students with dyslexia in the EFL classrooms. Finally, she is a certified business life coach and has established “Bright Minds Coaching” .
