“Beyond Role Play: Process Drama Techniques for a Dynamic Classroom”
which will take place on Wednesday, 2nd of July 2025, from 20.30 to 21.30 CET.
Summary:
This workshop explores the use of Process Drama (PD) techniques in the EL classroom under what Mrs. Everhart calls the Mind-Body-Speech Approach. PD fosters mindfulness and can boost confidence and reduce anxiety amongst ELLs. The workshop will include 2 techniques and several concrete examples of other techniques to help encourage language teachers to feel more comfortable and confident when introducing PD pedagogy into the classroom.
During the webinar all participants will be provided with a certificate of participation, which they will be able to download.

Evelyn Everhart
Bio
Evelyn Everhart is an American English Language Fellow working in Agadir, Morocco, as a teacher trainer and workshop facilitator. Mrs. Everhart has almost 9 years of teaching experience in Morocco, Saudi Arabia, France, Ireland, Turkey and online at the secondary, undergraduate and graduate level. Her areas of expertise include Process Drama Research, Teacher Training, Learning Technologies in the Classroom, EAP, ESP, Writing and Composition, Business English and TOEIC preparation. Since 2024, she has presented several case studies at Moroccan conferences focusing on Process Drama in the Classroom.
