Conflict is an inevitable part of professional life, yet few training programs equip individuals with the tools to navigate it effectively. This webinar is designed for English teachers who want to integrate conflict management strategies into their courses—whether to prepare students for the workplace or to enhance their own professional interactions.
Drawing from a practical, skills-based curriculum, this session will explore:

Professional profile
Bethany Cagnol
Bio
Bethany Cagnol is a professor of English at Télécom Paris in France where she teaches engineering students, heads the school’s EMI program and is director of the new Institute Polytechnique de Paris ELEVATE Center for scientific communication. She has an MA in TEFL from the University of London and specializes in professional communication and public speaking skills. Bethany has been president of TESOL France and Treasurer of IATEFL BESIG and has served on the IATEFL Conference Committee. She is currently on the Board of Trustees of IATEFL as Treasurer. She has published materials for Pearson, Cambridge University Press, and Cornelsen and launched a MOOC on Coursera entitled “Promote your Scientific Results”, which is open to everyone!
