Digital dilemmas
Penny Ur Cambridge University Press & Assessment
Summary
In this talk, I will address selected issues relating to the use of digital technology in teaching. For example: how much should we be using advanced digital tools, and where is ‘low-tech’ more effective? What about students who use ChatGPT to compose, or edit, their writing and then present it as their own work? I will discuss these and other questions, and suggest some possible ways of responding to them.
