Together Everyone Achieves More - the power of pair and group work
Magdalena Zawadzka
Summary
Using pair and group work during an English lesson seems to be stressful. It is connected with the fact that it sometimes means the lack of control, correcting and then, making students remember wrong answers. However, activities which are focused on working together are irreplaceable. If they are used in a proper way, our students may flourish and become more independent language users. What is more, using pair and group work encourages collaboration between students and they are able to use vocabulary and grammar structures in real-life contexts. Not only will benefits of collaboration be discussed, but also we are going to focus on example exercises that can be used at any level and age.
