In this highly practical talk Russell will highlight effective ways to use AI to focus on language learning. The focus will be on using AI to make more creative and effective lessons that focus on language learning and not simply moving from one techology to another. These ideas could easily be built around a coursebook or be used in isolation. The focus will be on creativity, scaffolding and critical thinking. The tools Russell will highlight will be simple to use, free and easily accessible.

He has more than 90,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel and a very active newsletter which he has been running since 2008. He received awards from the British Council ELTONS, the Times Higher and the University of Westminster
