Global Trends, Shared Concerns, Regional Solutions

Sanja Conjagic SOL

Summary

This presentation explores the evolving challenges in ELT, including AI, shifting methodologies, and global change, while reaffirming the importance of professional connection and community. It emphasizes the need for collaboration - locally, regionally, and globally - to create context-sensitive solutions. Upcoming SOL initiatives, such as the Regional Teachers Retreat in Serbia and programmes in Devon, offer opportunities for cultural exchange, professional growth, and shared understanding. These platforms remind us that, despite diverse contexts, educators face common challenges and by working together, we can adapt, support one another and shape the future of ELT with confidence and purpose.
