Digital Citizens: Do They Want Full-AI Learning?

Nadzeya Rusak

Summary

Digital citizens are often assumed to prefer fully AI-driven learning, but they actually exhibit diverse learning personas. Some thrive with autonomous, AI-powered training, while others seek live, human-centered interaction with instructors and peers. This variety challenges the notion that all tech-savvy professionals rely solely on apps or AI simulators. My presentation highlights the importance of understanding these learner differences when designing language programs. Using the widely recognized 4Es framework (Education, Experience, Environment, Exposure), I’ll demonstrate how blending AI with human expertise creates engaging, modern language learning experiences tailored to diverse needs.
