Do you know my super powers? ADHD in the classroom
Anita Bienio
Summary
What do teachers think when they hear that another student received an opinion from the clinic? Probably not something positive. Many worry that the student will be difficult to manage or need more support. This session aims to change that thinking by reframing ADHD as a different way of learning. I’ll explore the strengths of neurodivergent learners and look at strategies for supporting them in the English classroom. ADHD isn’t a problem to fix, but a different way of learning. When we understand their strengths, we can create a more inclusive classroom where every student has a chance to shine.
