Summary
Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) Teaching English as a foreign language has its limitations. In order to interest, motivate and engage learners, my school offers some classes taught in English only. These are English (treated as a skill-developing lesson + literature), Maths, Humanities and Science. In my talk I would be happy to share some classroom ideas used in those subjects. Broadening students' horizons, working with phonics, project work and many more make our lessons exciting for the learners. I will share some lesson plans and I hope we can find ways in which we can enhance collaboration between
Biodata
Anna Witańska – a primary teacher and a Deputy Head of Autorska Szkoła Podstawowa Saltando. I used to teach years 1-5 in a British international school, also in the capacity of the Primary Head. I love teaching and learning how to teach. I am an environmentalist and a vegan.
