There is a huge overlap between the world of entertainment and the world of teaching. Skills that entertainers have can help teachers to bring a class together, to create a good learning atmosphere among a group, and even to cope better with some of the specific psychological demands that they face today. This practical session looks at some of the things that entertainers do that can directly help teachers in their work such as keeping a group engaged and making sessions memorable.
Biodata
David is the founder and director of The Bear Educational Theatre in Prague, the longest-running English theatre in the region. He specializes in taking practices from the world of entertainment and applying them to classroom teaching. He believes that teaching is more effective if it is entertaining.
