Unconventional method to teach reading despite dyslexia
Daniella de Winter
Summary
In my presentation, I will introduce unconventional principles that simplify and clarify the reading process. I will highlight the cognitive benefits of learning to read, especially in relation to acquiring a foreign language. I will briefly present the reading program I developed over 30 years ago, now supported by recent brain research. Finally, I will explain the rationale behind the program and demonstrate its key principles using sample pages. This session will provide valuable insights for educators working with diverse learners, including students with dyslexia and other learning differences.
