The Power of Talk for Writing Approach in the EFL Class

Agata Kwiatkowska

Summary

The Talk for Writing approach is based on kinaesthetic approach and uses spoken activities to help the children learn new vocabulary and to develop writing. It entails four phases: cold task, imitation (story map to act out the text), innovation and the independent application. It is a tool to help the students speak and write with more confidence in English.
