“MY name’s BOND????” – how to create bonds between students (active listening and speaking) - live lesson with teenagers

Urszula Majdańska-Wachowicz

Summary

I love running live lessons. I have been doing it for years. I usually focus on linguistics, language contact, etc. This time, however, I would like to draw your attention to BONDS. Remote teaching seems over now and I get the impression that we still need to (re)build a sense of community in the classroom. The aim of the lesson is to demonstrate how to create and/or strengthen bonds between students and encourage integration in a fun way. The live lesson shows some ideas of how to introduce active listening and practise speaking and interaction. The lesson is primarily (but not only) suitable for secondary school teachers and university teachers.
