Developing our students’ public speaking skills to make them effective speakers – a webinar by Lucyna Wilinkiewicz-Górniak

Dear Colleagues,

IATEFL Poland and Lucyna Wilinkiewicz-Górniak,

have the pleasure to invite you to the webinar:

Developing our students’ public speaking skills to make them effective speakers

which will take place on Wednesday, 5th of March 2025, from 20.30 to 21.30 CET.

Summary:

The importance of public speaking skills as one of the main “soft skills” cannot be underestimated. However, the process of developing them is not as easy as it might seem and therefore our students need to be guided and supported at every consecutive stage. In this experience-based workshop, we will begin by reviewing some strategies, methods and techniques used by the author while facilitating the development of these skills and then brainstorm ideas with the participants to collect some interesting insights and create a synergy effect. Self-expression, both in professional and personal career is possible, so let’s help our students express themselves! Keywords: public speaking, content versus form, speaking competencies, in/effective speakers, skills’ development, areas of concern.

During the webinar all participants will be provided with a certificate of participation, which they will be able to download.

IATEFL Poland members have priority of registration for this webinar.

Do not delay. The number of participants is limited.
