Summary:
We all have learned to write appropriately in a multitude of genres, only a handful of which were taught specifically in school. How did we learn those other genres? No one lectured us on how to do it. We never saw any slideshows. Rather, we learned authentically and independently. It is time we brought this real-world learning into the classroom. Come sit through a lecture with a slide deck to find out how.
During the webinar all participants will be provided with a certificate of participation, which they will be able to download.

Michael Jack Mansfield
Michael Mansfield is an experienced educator of 7 years and a returned Peace Corps volunteer. His primary areas of focus are on composition, student-centered learning, and collaborative learning. Michael is an English Language Fellow working in tandem with the University of Gdansk in Poland to develop and instruct courses on Integrated English and American Society & Culture.
