which will take place on Wednesday, 2nd of October 2024, from 20.30 to 21.30 CET.
Summary:
This webinar aims to provide teachers and teacher trainers with some guidelines on how to select online tools, including AI-based tools, that are appropriate for their learners and what to consider when implementing them locally. It focuses on different aspects of tool use and how they can affect the process of curriculum design, choice of teaching methods and the design of course assessment procedures.
During the webinar all participants will be provided with a certificate of participation, which they will be able to download.

Anna Sołtyska
Lecturer in English for Academic and Specific Purposes at the University Language Centre of the Ruhr-University in Bochum (Germany)
Bio
Anna Soltyska is a member of academic staff at the Ruhr University in Bochum, Germany, where she coordinates the English programme at the University Language Centre. She has been active in the language teaching and testing industry for over 20 years in various roles, among others as an instructor, test developer and teacher trainer. Her current research interests include assessment literacy in post-COVID era, various aspects of assessment-related malpractice and the impact of AI on language learning, teaching and assessment in low- and high-stake contexts.
