by Anna Gałucka

Dear ELT Ireland Colleagues!

It's Monday morning and that can mean only two things - teachers are on their way to another week of classroom challenges and it's time for the ELT Ireland newsletter.

Manager Meetup 26th October

Discussions around the topic of Quality Assurance were brilliantly facilitated by Joanne MItten and concluding with some great advice for schools from ELT Ireland President Lou McLoughlin.

The aim of this session was to discuss quality from a practical, ground-level perspective – what can we implement in our institutions to ensure quality across the board in real terms? Through various brainstorming and round-table discussion, the group came up with the following four areas of interest:
- Teaching and Learning
- Student Welfare
- Communication
- Logistics and Finance

Breakout groups discussed these topics in depth, including possible solutions to problems that might arise within the area.
