Title: Hands-on Language Learning with Mobile Devices

With a mobile device students can learn English while engaging in activities that get them out of their seats talking and exploring. In this session Shelly Sanchez Terrell introduces mobile language learning activities that require no Internet connection. Instead, language learners are encouraged to take pictures, record audio, make a movie, and partner with peers to enhance all four skills- reading, writing, speaking, and listening. This webinar will also offer tips for keeping students focused.

Shelly Sanchez Terrell is an award winning digital innovator, instructional designer, and the author of 4 books. She has trained teachers and taught English language learners in over 20 countries as an invited guest expert and the founder of various online conferences and MOOCs. Shelly was named Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women, awarded a Bammy as a founder of #Edchat, and received two ELTon nominations by the British Council. She regularly shares via Twitter, @ShellTerrell, and on, which has been recognized as one of the top ESL and Edtech blogs.
