by Anna Gałucka
Categories: Wrocław Region.

The regional stage of the Public Speaking Contest in Wrocław was held at Liceum Ogólnokształcące nr VII im. Krzysztofa Kamila Baczyńskiego, courtesy of the Head of the school.

The competition gathered 19 participants, representing schools from Kłodzko, Milicz, Oleśnica, Wałbrzych, Wrocław and Zgorzelec. The contestants competed in two age categories : 13-16 and 17-19  years of age.

The students presented their well-considered opinions on what things should be taught at schools, and impressed the audience with their expressive speeches, intricate rhetorical devices, and convincing arguments. The rivalry was friendly but tough, and the tension mounted till the last minute, as the level of competition was very high.
