Dear Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to join us

on Saturday December 1st, 2018 at 11.00 a.m.
at the DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES

of WROCŁAW UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
ul. Wybrzeże Wyspiańskiego 8, 50-370 Wrocław, BUILDING H-4,
room 11A/B

for a practical workshop entitled

Creativity – is it for real or just a buzz word?

Speaker: Marta Bujakowska

Together we will ponder upon the real meaning of a word CREATIVITY in an ELT context. We will go through a series of activities to help us decide if we want to use creative methodology in our classrooms or not. Please be prepared to take an active part in the workshop.

Marta Bujakowska is a freelance teacher and teacher trainer. She holds TEFLA Certificate from International House, studied English at Silesian University in Poland and obtained her MA in Teaching degree from SIT in Vermont, USA. In her career she has  taught all ages and levels. Nowadays she works with teachers, teenagers and adult learners of English. Marta has been with IATEFL POLAND since 1994. At present she holds a position of Liaison Officer, who starts up and maintains good relations with IATEFL partner associations. In 2017 she joined the Associates’ Committee of IATEFL International, where she works with Associates of IATEFL. She believes that teachers should feel that their self-development is insatiable and that they should support one another in searching for new challenges.

The workshop is free for IATEFL members. For non-IATEFL members the registration fee is 40 PLN, which can be paid on the day. The fee can also be paid in advance directly into IATEFL Poland’s bank account (see details below).
