Speaker: Urszula Kropaczewska, Ph.D.
IATEFL Poland Young Learners SIG Coordinator

Language Teaching with the brain in mind – 45 minutes – a presentation - some reflections connected with learning styles and strategies used by students and taught by teachers to make the teaching-learning process complete and adapted to every individual student and their needs.

Magic Machine – 45 minutes – a workshop – some practical suggestions and tips to make English lessons involving and interesting for teachers and learners. Participants will have a chance to see how the craft method works while working with young learners.

Educational cube – 45 minutes – a workshop – playing a variety of educational games makes the process of learning-teaching English to young learners enjoyable and satisfying and the use of an educational cube still makes it more amazing. Participants will have a chance to be engaged in some games.

Stations – 45 minutes – a workshop – some practical solutions to the issue of fulfilling the individual needs of students so as everybody could be successful and happy. Participants will have a chance to be involved in some exercises, and the technique which will be presented is “educational stations,” which works well while teaching English to young learners.

You will leave the event with lots of practical ideas and a set of ready-to-use materials!

The series of workshops is specially designed for those who teach/are willing to teach Young Learners.

She has also been engaged in organising Live Lessons in many places (also IATEFL conferences) for teachers to see the theory in practice.
