- Share good teaching practices
- Develop practical application of theoretical framework
- Engage teachers-to-be to share their lesson ideas

What makes a “good” lesson?
Summary:
This session addresses student teaching professionals-to-be who would like to gain some practical knowledge on EFL lesson planning. At the end of the class, participants will know how our attention and memory work during the lesson and how to make them work effectively from the student and teacher’s perspective.
BIO: Magdalena Kaźmierkiewicz is an FLT methodologist, a university lecturer in English Philology, a teacher trainer, and above all, an enthusiast of (accompanying in) personal development. For many years, she was involved in the private language education sector, working as a Director of Studies, and methodological consultant. She collaborated with NGOs and associations, including the PASE Association as the substantive coordinator of conferences for EFL teachers (2018- 2020), IATEFL Poland as a Board Member for international affairs (2020- 2023), the member of the SIG Continuous Professional Teacher Development (2018-present), and Fundacja Dajemy Dzieciom Siłę as a teaching project methodologist. Currently, she teaches English within the practical profile of English Philology at Vistula University in Warsaw. She prepares students for entering the job market as a Director of the Careers and Internships Department.
- The webinar is dedicated to university students whose major is TEFL, IATEFL members and IATEFL friends.
- All the participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
- The event is scheduled to last until approx. 11:15 a.m. (a 60-minute talk will be followed by a short Q&A session).
