How Do You Relate To Your Students? And To Your School? – a webinar by David Fisher

Dear Colleagues,

IATEFL Poland and David Fisher, educator and trainer, Director at The Bear Educational Theatre,

have the pleasure to invite you to the webinar:

How Do You Relate To Your Students? And To Your School?

which will take place on Wednesday, 11th of September 2024, from 20.30 to 21.30 CET.

Summary:

Different teachers have different teaching styles. Some prefer to be relaxed and friendly if they can, while others are more serious and unsmiling. Some believe in ‘tough love’, and new teachers are still trying to work it all out for themselves. So what is the optimal way for a teacher to be with a class of students? And how does the place where you teach affect how you relate to your students in the classroom?

This session introduces the concept of status and applies it to practical issues around classroom management. Understanding how status works gives us a great framework for answering questions like the ones above, it also gets you thinking about how people are relating to each other in other areas of life outside the classroom.

During the webinar all participants will be provided with a certificate of participation, which they will be able to download.

IATEFL Poland members have priority of registration for this webinar.

Do not delay. The number of participants is limited.
