We would like to invite you to join us
on Saturday February 27th, 2021 at 9.00 a.m.
for IATEFL POLAND’s FIRST EVER LIVE LESSON ONLINE
with URSZULA MAJDAŃSKA-WACHOWICZ and her lovely team of students:
THE WIZARD OF ADS!
The lesson is inspired by my work experience as I used to teach ESP. The aim of the lesson is to introduce chosen terms dedicated to ADS and PR in a funny and creative way. Specifically, I will focus on some selected international phrases. However, the lesson plan is not restricted to ESP. It can be used when teaching ‘culture’ or ‘shopping’, for instance. During the lesson I will take advantage of some learning applications including chat, but first and foremost, I will try to develop creativity in my students.
Urszula Majdańska-Wachowicz, MA in English (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, University of Zielona Góra), MA in Polish and Journalism (University of Zielona Góra). Ula has been an English teacher since 2003 and a teacher-trainer since 2013. She works at I Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Bolesława Krzywoustego and Powiatowy Ośrodek Doradztwa Metodycznego in Głogów. Currently, she is a Ph.D. student in Linguistics (University of Zielona Góra). She presented for IATEFL Poland in Szczecin (2016), Bielsko-Biała (2017), Wrocław (2018) and Gdańsk (2019).
