Keeping it Real! Teaching Useful Idioms and Getting Rid of the Old! – a webinar by Glenn Standish
Dear Colleagues,
IATEFL Poland and Glenn Standish
have the pleasure to invite you to the webinar:
“Keeping it Real! Teaching Useful Idioms and Getting Rid of the Old!”
which will take place on Wednesday, 29th of October 2025, from 20.30 to 21.30 CET.
Summary:
Coursebooks are full of idioms and Polish students love them! However, the problem is there are so many of them and most coursebooks teach idioms which are so outdated, students simply sound trite and old-fashioned. In this session, we will look at useful idioms to teach your students and help separate the old from the new. We will also look at a variety of fun ways to practise them in class.
During the webinar all participants will be provided with a certificate of participation, which they will be able to download.
IATEFL Poland members have priority of registration for this webinar.
Do not delay. The number of participants is limited.
