“Reflective Teaching: Learning from Student Feedback”

Successful educators are dedicated to ongoing professional development and improving their practices through critical reflection. One useful tool in the repertoire of reflective teachers is student feedback. In this webinar, we’ll discuss methods for gathering student feedback throughout the semester and at the end of the course. We’ll look at a variety of sample questions and formats for creating our own student feedback forms that are relevant to our own teaching philosophies and professional goals.

Professional profile

Willow Barnosky

Willow Barnosky is an educator and writer based in San Jose, California. She is the Virtual English Language Fellow at the University of Opole for 2020–2021 and was the English Language Fellow at the University of Rzeszów for 2019-2020. She has experience as an ESL and EFL instructor, professional developer, and curriculum designer in Adult Education, university, and language institute contexts in the United States, Japan, South Korea, and Poland. She received her MA in TESOL and a Specialization in Teaching Spanish from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California, and a BA in Spanish and Latin American Studies from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania.
