Teaching English means teaching culture – a webinar by Urszula Kropaczewska (PhD)
Dear Colleagues,
IATEFL Poland and Urszula Kropaczewska (PhD), the Coordinator of Young Learners Special Interest Group in IATEFL Poland
have the pleasure to invite you to the webinar:
“Teaching English means teaching culture”
which will take place on Wednesday, 22nd of September 2025, from 20.30 to 21.30 CET.
Summary:
In English lessons, we do more than teach vocabulary, grammar, and language skills—we also introduce the cultural context in which the language is used. Language and culture are closely connected, and helping students understand this relationship enhances both their communication skills and cultural awareness. This webinar will explore practical ways to bring culture into the classroom and highlight why it’s a vital part of language education.
During the webinar all participants will be provided with a certificate of participation, which they will be able to download.
IATEFL Poland members have priority of registration for this webinar.
Do not delay. The number of participants is limited.
