„The importance of short stories in ELT„
which will take place on Wednesday, 10th of September 2025, from 20.30 to 21.30 CET.
Summary:
Short stories are ideally suited to language learning. Unrestrained by genre limitations, they can be provocative, intriguing, profound, moving and fun. After reviewing the reasons for using short stories as a learning resource Daniel will move on to present a series of practical and effective strategies teachers can employ to take advantage of this rich and constantly surprising literary form.
During the webinar all participants will be provided with a certificate of participation, which they will be able to download.
IATEFL Poland members have priority of registration for this webinar.

Daniel Brint

Bio
Dr Daniel Brint is a teacher and writer focused on literature, visual media and creative writing. Daniel worked for the British Council and has been director of Upper Street School of English since 2016. He is a board member of TESOL-SPAIN and is editor of the TESOL-SPAIN ELT Journal.
