The VI Konferencja Lektor High-Tech 2024: An Unforgettable Experience

Delivering another plenary at the VI Konferencja Lektor High-Tech 2024 held at the Centrum Jezykowe Politechniki Lodzkiej was an exhilarating experience. The conference, known for its focus on integrating technology into language learning and teaching, brought together a vibrant community of educators, technologists, and language enthusiasts. The atmosphere was electric with anticipation and enthusiasm as attendees gathered to share their insights and innovations.

The array of talks and workshops was truly impressive. Esteemed speakers from various parts of Poland presented cutting-edge research and practical applications of technology in language education. People like, Kacper Łodzikowski (Pearson), Ola Marchwian (National Geographic Learning Polska), Piotr Steinbrich (PWN), Katarzyna Radke (Uniwersytet Adama Mickiewicza), and Karolina Kasperska (British Council), all speakers at our upcoming annual conference in Gdansk.

Topics ranged from AI-driven language learning platforms to virtual reality in language immersion, offering a wealth of knowledge and inspiration to all participants. Each session was a testament to the ingenuity and dedication of those working at the intersection of technology and language education.

One of the highlights of the conference was the diversity of perspectives and ideas exchanged. The workshops were highly interactive and provided hands-on experiences with the latest methodologies. Participants engaged in lively discussions and brainstorming innovative approaches to common challenges in language teaching. For me, delivering the plenary was a moment of immense pride and joy. Standing before a knowledgeable and engaged audience, I felt a profound sense of connection and shared purpose. The positive feedback and stimulating questions from the audience highlighted the collective passion for advancing language education through technology.
