Summary:
There is a huge overlap between the world of entertainment and the world of teaching. Skills that entertainers have can help teachers to bring a class together, to create a good learning atmosphere among a group, and even to cope better with some of the specific psychological demands that they face today. This practical session looks at some of the things that entertainers do that can directly help teachers in their work such as keeping a group engaged and making sessions memorable.
During the webinar all participants will be provided with a certificate of participation, which they will be able to download.

David Fisher
Educator and trainer, the Bear Educational Theatre
Bio
David Fisher is the founder and director of The Bear Educational Theatre, Prague. He is a teacher and teacher-trainer, but also a professional actor with several film and theatre credits. He specializes in applying principles from the world of entertainment to classroom teaching.
The Bear Educational Theatre from Prague is the longest-running professional English theatre in Central Europe. Over the last 28 years it has performed tens of thousands of shows for school groups, won awards, and built a strong reputation for combining quality entertainment with sound teaching methodology.
