which will take place on Wednesday, 15th of April 2026, from 20.30 to 21.30 CET.
Summary:
There is a lot of hype about AI and some of it is misplaced. There are key areas in language education where AI is really having an impact and in this highly practical presentation will present some of these technologies. Russell will demonstrate how AI can save us time, help with crafting interesting materials for our lessons and build more interaction into our teaching and learning. All the tools Russell will introduce have free options and the focus and emphasis will be on how they can impact on the way we deliver lessons and our students learning language. Language learning is our currency and that must be at the centre of any technologies we use.

He has more than 100,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel and a very active newsletter that he has been running since 2008. He received awards from the British Council ELTONS, the Times Higher and the University of Westminster for his work in the use of ICT in education. He specialises in training language educators in the use of technology to enhance teaching and learning.
