How can we educate future philologists to be ready for the challenges of the job market? This and many other questions were explored by experts and university leaders during a meeting held at Vistula University (Academy of Finance and Business Vistula) in Warsaw on 19 June 2026.
The meeting of the Advisory Board of Business Partners for the Philology programme provided an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss the competencies expected of graduates, as well as educational pathways that best respond to the needs of today’s rapidly changing labour market.
The event brought together experts representing a variety of organisations, language schools, and companies involved in education and language development. Their expertise and practical experience provide invaluable support in shaping the educational process and ensuring that students acquire skills relevant to their future careers. Among the invited experts was Viola Bielecka, who, together with the other participants, shared insights and recommendations regarding the further development of the Philology programme.
Violetta (Viola) Bielecka holds important international and national positions within IATEFL (International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language). She serves as Treasurer on the global Board of Trustees of IATEFL and is actively involved in IATEFL Poland as a member of the Review Committee and In-Service Teacher Training Coordinator.
Thanks to the engagement of business partners and industry experts, Vistula University continues to strengthen the connection between academic education and employers’ real needs, ensuring that graduates are well prepared for professional success in an increasingly competitive and dynamic job market.

Odpowiedzi na to i inne pytania próbowali znaleźć eksperci i władze uczelni podczas spotkania na Akademii Finansów i Biznesu Vistula w Warszawie 19 czerwca 2026. Rozmowy Kolegium Partnerów z otoczenia biznesowego kierunku Filologia stały się doskonałą okazją do wymiany doświadczeń oraz rozmów o kompetencjach absolwentów i kierunkach kształcenia, które najlepiej odpowiadają na potrzeby współczesnego rynku pracy.
W spotkaniu uczestniczyli eksperci reprezentujący różne organizacje, szkoły językowe oraz firmy związane z edukacją i rozwojem kompetencji językowych. Ich wiedza i praktyczne doświadczenie stanowią cenne wsparcie w procesie kształcenia studentów.
Wśród zaproszonych ekspertów znalazła się również Viola Bielecka, która wspólnie z pozostałymi uczestnikami dzieliła się spostrzeżeniami i rekomendacjami dotyczącymi rozwoju kierunku filologii.
Violetta (Viola) Bielecka pełni kluczowe funkcje międzynarodowe i krajowe w strukturach IATEFL (International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language). Zajmuje stanowisko skarbnika (Treasurer) w globalnym zarządzie (Board of Trustees) organizacji oraz aktywnie działa w stowarzyszeniu IATEFL Poland jako członkini Komisji Rewizyjnej oraz koordynatorka szkoleń dla nauczycieli (In-Service Teacher Training Coordinator).
Dzięki zaangażowaniu partnerów biznesowych Akademia Finansów i Biznesu Vistula w Warszawie może jeszcze lepiej dostosowywać ofertę edukacyjną do zmieniających się potrzeb pracodawców i przyszłych absolwentów. A my cieszymy się, że była tam nasza reprezentantka.
