On June 26, 2026, IATEFL Poland was represented at the international hybrid conference “Integrating Intercultural Education in the Classroom: European and Kazakh Experiences,” hosted by Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University in Kazakhstan.
The event brought together teachers, researchers, and students from different countries to exchange perspectives on intercultural education.
During the conference, the President of IATEFL Poland, Magdalena Gałaj, presented her experience from her work at Lodz University of Technology, a member of the ECIU University community. The presentation highlighted practical approaches to integrating intercultural competence into the classroom, drawing on both European and Kazakh perspectives.
Participation in this event provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen international collaboration and promote the exchange of innovative teaching practices within the global ELT community.
