This webinar is titled: “Own the Room: Teacher Presence, Confidence and Classroom Leadership“.
Summary:
Students rarely remember the worksheet, but they often remember the story. This session explores how teachers can use hooks, suspense, narrative and gradual revelation to capture attention and create more authentic learning experiences. We will examine how a lesson can begin with curiosity rather than explanation, how information can be revealed in stages, and how storytelling can give language tasks a genuine communicative purpose. Rather than adding stories as decoration, the session presents narration as a structure for learning — one that encourages students to predict, question, interpret and respond.
Anna Przybyło Bio:
Anna Przybyło is an educator, teacher trainer, and PhD candidate researching bilingual education and teacher development. She is the founder of CATT Academy and specialises in inquiry-based learning, student agency, and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
