Talking Smart and Simple: Unorthodox Styles in Public Speaking
In an information-saturated world, standard linear speech structures—Introduction, Body, and Conclusion—often struggle to maintain audience engagement. Talking Smart and Simple (TSS) presents a dynamic alternative, shifting public speaking from a passive lecture to an active, audience-centred dialogue. Moving beyond rigid frameworks, this workshop explores non-linear, modular, and circular techniques that adapt fluidly to real-time audience responses. Through interactive storytelling, strategic questioning, and hands-on exercises, participants will learn how to simplify complex concepts without sacrificing depth or nuance. Attendees will leave equipped with practical strategies to deliver concise, high-impact messages that capture modern attention spans and drive meaningful connection.
Keywords: Talking smart and simple, creative styles, public speaking, practical communication, non-conventional frameworks
