Summary:
The twin experiences of Covid and political and social upset present all of us with human challenges which seem very distant from the ‘certainties’ of our familiar language teaching and learning contexts. How will – and should – these experiences affect lesson content, materials and approaches? What examples from teachers’ and learners’ own lives can feed into and enrich the learning experience?
