Public Speaking Contest 2026 – Wrocław

XI Ogólnopolski Konkurs Krasomówczy

Topic: “Curiosity killed the cat” – is it good or bad to be curious?

For the eleventh consecutive year, Wrocław hosted the regional round of the Public Speaking Contest organised by IATEFL Poland. This year’s edition provided a platform for insightful reflections and engaging personal stories.

The event, held at Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. K.K. Baczyńskiego, on 09.06.2026, brought together 40 students from across Region West. Participants delivered speeches inspired by the theme: “Curiosity killed the cat”. Drawing on their own experiences and observations, students explored how challenges, mistakes, and unexpected situations can become valuable opportunities for learning and personal development. The speeches were thoughtfully prepared, well structured, and presented with confidence and maturity.

Congratulations to all participants for their excellent performances. Special recognition goes to the winners, whose speeches particularly impressed the jury with both their content and delivery.
