IATEFL Poland and Professor Lynn Hoke

have the pleasure to invite you to the webinar:

Social-Emotional Learning and Why it Matters for Educators.

which will take place on Wednesday, 22nd of May, Wednesday, from 20.30 to 21.30 CET.

Summary:

What is Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)?It’s how we teach students to be resilient, empathetic, and self-aware individuals who will one day be productive, active members of society. According to the Dr Annalise Mabry Foundation, “SEL is the process through which children and adults understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. It is a framework for teaching skills that are essential for success in life beyond the classroom.” In this webinar we will discuss what SEL is, why it is critical to the learning process of students, and ways to incorporate it into your lessons.

During the webinar all participants will be provided with a certificate of participation, which they will be able to download.

IATEFL Poland members have priority of registration for this webinar.
