How to bring the real world into our EFL classes?
How to create a learning environment that motivates students in our classrooms? How to use the potential of international contacts and real-life communication situations to improve English language skills of our students? During the event Edyta Borowicz-Czuchryta, an inspiring Global Teacher Award 2021 winner, will share some of her amazing experience in bringing the real world into EFL classes. This presentation will be followed by a Q&A and discussion. The online meeting will also provide an opportunity for exchanging ideas and examples of good practice between participants. Edyta Borowicz-Czuchryta – English teacher at the Primary School in Szczekarków in Poland and a lecturer at the College of Social and Natural Sciences in Lublin in the field of English-language BA Tourism and Hospitality Management and Business Management. Experienced ambassador of the eTwinning program, running training sessions and workshops for teachers in the country and abroad. Trained her didactic ability at the Teaching English to Young Learners course at the University of Maryland, receiving a scholarship from the American Embassy. The BAS 2016 English Language Teacher in a competition organized by the British Alumni Society and Oxford University Press. In July 2018, she joined the group of Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts. In 2019 she was one of many happy MIEEs all over the world who won the #EducationExchangeE2 Conference in Sydney. In 2019 and 2020 awarded Mie Fellow. She was awarded Global Teacher Award in September 2021. There wouldn’t be teachers but for the students. They are my MOTIVATION!!!
