Present Perfect(ly): Teaching Presentation Skills – a webinar by Rob Howard
Dear Colleagues,
IATEFL Poland and Rob Howard, Owner of Business Language Training Institute, Joint Coordinator of the IATEFL BESIG
have the pleasure to invite you to the webinar
“Present Perfect(ly): Teaching Presentation Skills“
Brief summary:
In the workplace, the classroom and in life, most of us will need to make some type of presentation. “Death by PowerPoint” is real when quality presentation skills aren’t heeded. “Life with PowerPoint” can be achieved when using imagery is an effective tool towards engagement and interest. The mistakes most make though are causing the audience to lose focus and miss the point(s). Congesting the screen, making color, layout and content mistakes are not only failing the objective, but hindering the outcome. Most are overusing technology to the point of Sensory Overload. This talk will show how to teach more effective methods for simplification and how to produce quality presentations not only for your students, but for yourselves.
