Abstract

This highly practical talk will focus on a few of the key AI tools that are emerging in the area of language education and demonstrate ways they can be used both in the classroom and for homework. This is a talk packed with useful ideas based around a few key technologies that are both easy to use and also offer a free option. The focus will be on both ideas for the classroom but also on ways we can encourage our students to use the tools to develop their autonomy and make homework activities more engaging.
